are both retailer and servicer for your DirecTV needs.
With one phone call or a visit to our office, we are able
to take care of you. If you are interested in a DirecTV
system, or need to troubleshoot your existing system,
our staff is here to assist you with professional installers
available.

are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday,
8AM to Noon. Our toll free telephone number is 866-279-6544.
This number is available to you 24-hours a day for questions
or changes on your programing.
Throughout
the year, DirecTV offers various specials to new and existing
subscribers. When these are available, we will post them
on our website, advertise in your local papers and promote
them via the radio stations.
NATIONAL
NETWORKS are available to eligible customers
over your satellite system if the local stations are not
currently available in your area on the satellite.
Wausau/Rhinelander or
Eau Claire/La Crosse DMA local stations are being retransmitted
via satellite. If you are in the Wausau/Rhinelander or
Eau Claire/La Crosse DMA, call for an upgrade to your
equipment.
An upgrade to your equipment
will be required. The upgrade consists of a 2nd 18"
dish and receiver replacement if needed. This upgrade
will be done at a charge for the customers.
PAY PER VIEW - Read your User’s
manual carefully to avoid renting pay per view movies
unnecessarily. Your DirecTV system is equipped with lockout
codes to prevent costly pay per view movies.
Everyone has an individual
access card. This access card is paired with your receiver.
The movies that are downloaded were rented on your receiver.
Be sure to check your past purchase menu with your billing
to verify the time and date these were rented.
We are unable to credit
accounts for movies that appear on your billing. The lock
code will enable you to lock out movies above a certain
dollar amount, as well as lock out ratings. If you need
more information on how to set-up the locks, please call
our office and we will walk you through this.
TELEPHONE
LINES - Your receiver should have a continuous
land-line phone connected to it. This will allow you to
utilize the Impulse Pay Per View option and the Sports
Packages.
Your receiver does an
automatic call into DirecTV to bill you and clear your
access card of IPPV movies. This is another reason to
verify your past purchases in your option menu with the
billing each month. It will ensure your receiver is working
properly and calling in for download.
You may have disconnected
the phone line during a storm and forgotten to reconnect
it, your surge suppressor may have taken a direct hit
to the phone modem, or your receiver may be damaged through
the modem. The fastest and earliest detection of a problem
can avoid large accumulations of movies on the billing.
The pay per view will still work for a short period of
time if your system is not calling in. It may accumulate
movies until it reaches a limit and shuts off. To avoid
this, verify your bill with the past purchase option in
your menu. Even if the movies are rented and not able
to download, you are responsible for the payment of them.
A continuous connected
phone line is required to obtain the sports packages,
season tickets and DirecTV programming. If you do not
have a phone connected and wish to order pay per view
movies, the charge to order by calling in is $5 plus the
cost of the movies.

movies via the Directv website at www.directv.com.
This website will also allow you to check your account,
review monthly specials, and pay your bill.
SURGE SUPPRESSORS - We cannot stress
enough, how important it is to have a proper surge suppressor
on your electronic equipment. The only surge protector
that will completely protect your receiver needs to have
a phone, electrical and coax cable connection. We have
surge suppressors at our office for this purpose. Should
you receive a hit through the electrical, coax or phone
lines the Panamax surge covers a lifetime warranty and
up to a $100,000 connection policy. It will not only protect
your DirecTV system, but also the TV, VCR, DVD or any
other equipment plugged into it properly.
PIRACY
- Piracy is using DirecTV’s access card
to illegally obtain programming. This is theft and anyone
caught will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
If you know of anyone who is using a pirated access card,
notify us immediately. You can remain anonymous. Unchecked
piracy is the same as shoplifting. Someone has to pay
for the theft, and it winds up being passed on to the
honest consumers.
EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer Is available
through your checking account. If you are interested in
using EFT, contact our office and we will send you the
forms to get you started
CREDIT
CARD PAYMENTS - You may have your programming
payment deducted from your MasterCard, VISA, American
Express, Optima, Discover or Check Card every month. Call
us with the number and expiration date to be set up for
this.
PAYMENTS - We do accept payments directly at
our office in Greenwood. Mail or bring in to Clark Electric
